Danzell Cyber Essentials Question Set Explained

By czitapp · Updated 28 September 2026 · Plain-English UK guidance

Short answer

Danzell is the Cyber Essentials question set IASME identifies for organisations preparing to purchase from 27 April 2026. The requirements it assesses are the current NCSC Cyber Essentials requirements v3.3.

What changed for buyers?

The practical task is not to memorise a new questionnaire. It is to make sure your scope, cloud services, supported software, access controls and evidence align with the current requirements before you begin the assessment.

Scope first

Document devices, networks, cloud services and justified exclusions before answering detailed control questions.

Evidence second

Keep configuration screenshots, inventories and reports close to the person who will complete and sign off the assessment.

Use current documents

Do not prepare from an old Willow-era checklist if your purchase falls under the Danzell route.

How CZITAPP uses Danzell

CZITAPP explains themes and maps them back to public NCSC requirements. It does not republish the official questionnaire wholesale or pretend to be the assessment portal.
